About this event
The Marshall L. Davis Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center presents Still Tippin’ , an exhibit by Miami-based Haitian-Cuban artist and architect Sydney Rose Maubert, as part of Amadlozi Gallery’s Miami Art Week 2026 program. Located in the Center’s courtyard, the installation features a full-scale sonic sculpture of a 1996 Chevy SS Impala, leading visitors into the gallery exhibition of accompanying paintings, sculptures, and architectural drawings. Exploring the industrial and cultural contributions of the Great Migration, Still Tippin’ anchors a dynamic series of film screenings, music performances, and community events. Blending art, architecture, sound, and cultural history, the installation offers an engaging exploration of Maubert’s artistic vision and Miami’s vibrant creative landscape.
